Cabins On The Cumberland is a new development so they needed a cohesive brand strategy and marketing approach to target their ideal guests effectively. They needed to stand out in the competitive Lake Cumberland tourism market by building a strong identity, improving the booking experience, and establishing a multi-channel marketing strategy.

Brand Strategy:

  • Developed the tagline "Family Traditions Start Here" to reflect the property’s focus on generational connections and fond memories.
  • Crafted brand stories used across social media and content platforms.
Website Design
  • Built a guest-focused website with an intuitive booking process to ensure ease of use and mirror the seamless experience of staying at the resort.
  • Designed booking and stay pages with guides and information to enhance the guest experience from the moment of reservation.
  • Used Hospitable direct booking widget and search feature. 
  • Implemented a robust SEO strategy to improve organic search visibility.
Email Marketing
  • Captured potential guests through a homepage offer and giveaway to build a lead generation funnel.
  • Created automated email campaigns targeting potential and past guests to encourage bookings.
  • Leveraged StayFi to retarget past guests with exclusive offers and personalized messaging.
  • Also encouraging past guests to leave us a review on our Google Business Profile to give credibility and boost in search results.
Social Media Strategy
  • Focused on Instagram with the Three Cs: content, conversations, and collaborations.
  • Produced a lifestyle photo and video shoot to visually bring the brand story to life.
  • Posted 70% of content as Reels to maximize reach and engagement.
  • DM’d new followers with exclusive discount codes and encouraged booking directly via Instagram.
  • Partnered with influencers aligned with the brand’s target audience to boost reach and drive bookings.
